For old timer Mick Haffner, 68, telling stories about the good old days has actually become preferable to participating in BDSM scenes or even having sex.
“What people don’t get,” says Haffner, “is how much better it used to be when I started. I had a slave for 27 years, who was the love of my life. We earned our leathers and we had rules. Kids today just don’t get it.”
Haffner, because of his experience is considered to be a very desirable play partner among both men and women in the scene, but no one has seen him actually play in at least 15 years.
“He says he can make a woman orgasm just by hitting her once with a flogger, but whenever you ask him to demonstrate he just waves his hand and starts talking about what he calls ‘the old days’ when everything was ‘better.’ A lot of us are starting to doubt some of what he says,” Master Jeremy Issa, 47, told The Daily Flogger. “Some of his stories just sound too good to be true.”
Haffner says that is just the kind of skepticism that keeps him sidelined. “I don’t have to prove anything to anyone, I had a slave for 27 years.”
